Deidre James was born and raised in High Point, NC and
attended NC A&T State University and The University of North Carolina at
Greensboro. She has been on the number 1 radio morning show in the Triad for
over 10 years. During this time, Deidre
as managed to make herself - and her name - synonymous with news and
entertainment.
Deidre’s panache for making her passions come to life is
quite infectious. A proponent for
positive self-image, style, interior design, fashion, theater, film, music,
local arts, traveling and life in general, she has managed to bring all of this
to life with her national blog.
“Dee-Tales” is Deidre’s platform to incorporate her humor, personality,
compassionate nature, interviewing skills, and knowledge to discuss many topics
that are affecting our world in one way or another.
Some of Deidre’s most notable interviews and interactions

Deidre believes in “paying it forward” and giving back to the
community. She is heavily involved in
local politics as well as Often Awesome, Susan G Komen Foundation, Win-Win
Resolutions, and Family Services of the Piedmont. Deidre is also a proud member
of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Whether it’s time or monetary, Deidre believes that its her obligation
to give back to the community that believed in her abilities and helped her get
where she is today.
