Hope & Healing

1.10.2011

My heart is so heavy right now. I spent the last two hours writing a wordy preachy post on the tragedy in Tucson, only to delete the entire thing.

Instead I will say this, be kind to each other. Watch your words because whether you like it or not, they do have power.  We must do better, we must do better.

In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death.  –Anne Frank

Praying for peace and healing for their families and loved ones.

Prayers for our nation, our leaders, and each other.

I will always have hope. I will always seek peace.

Thank you. I hope we can learn from this tragedy and treat each other better from this point on. Life is so precious, I can't accept violence as a solution to political disagreements.

Beautifully stated. It brings me much comfort in a very uncertain time ...knowing that there are others trying to quietly rise in this blur of confusion.
